Legal Issues

When starting up your own catering company you must register with your local authority by filling out a OSR1 form and then by filling out the F9 form from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

It is crucial that you register with them because the HSE carries out checks on all businesses to make sure that they are abiding by the Health and Safety rules.

It is a good idea to register with both because they can give you help and advice with all Health and Safety issues.
